The statistics showed the national consumer spending power on three categories in 5 countries in 2002.

All five countries spent most with comestibles, with the examples of food, drinks and tobaccos etc. While Turkey had the highest proportion in it, 32.14%, followed by Ireland and Spain, 28.91% and 18.8%. Sweden spent the least in that category, with only 15.77%.

Secondly, for clothing and footware. Italy spent the most among the others, with a noticeable 9%, followed by Turkey and Ireland that ranked at 6.63% and 6.43% respectively.

The last category is leisure and education. Surprisingly all countries spend less than 5% in it. Turkey spent the most, even the percentage is only 4.35%. Likewise, Ireland, Italy and Sweden spent in the range of 2-3%. Spain spent the least, with a diminutive 1.98%.

From the spreadsheet, we notice that Turkey had the greatest national consumer expenditure. Way above other countries in matters of comestibles, leisure and education. While Sweden had the least national consumer expenditure in the basis of comestibles and clothing.
