Some people think that parents should teach children how to be a good member of the society. Other, however, believed that school is the place to learn this.
Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.
Children learning are affected by many factors. Both parents and school play important roles in building the children’s’ attitudes and behaviour. In this assay, I am going to discuss both aspects.
To start with, parents have a major influence on their children. In addition, children, by nature, like to imitate their parents. As a result, the parents should work like a model for their children. For instance, the parents should behave well with other people, so their children would learn the good behaviour.
On the other hand, school is the place where children reflect the attitude that they have learnt from their parents. Moreover, the school’s teachers have a very important impact in children’s attitude. The teachers would allocate the children’s behaviour as good or bad. Therefore, the teachers need to understand their students to be able to guide them.
Furthermore, the school’s activity like group work would enhance the children’s recognition of the importance of working with others and sharing.
To sum up, although the children acquired their behaviour and attitude from their parents, the school has a complementary role to direct the children to the right direction. Hence, both parents and school would effect in leading the children to be good members in their community.
In conclusion, I have to admire that children’s learning is a complex process that required careful attention. I believe that children acquired their behaviour and attitude from the surrounding environment including their home and school. In addition, we should not ignore other factors like media and friends in shaping the children’s performance.
