The phenomena that excessive oil depletion, deforestation and drought have long been an issue of affecting the daily routines of people from all walks of life. In this essay, I will explain some of related problems it has brought and recommend some feasible solutions.

The principal problem that oil depletion causes is that since private cars and many other modes of transportation consume large quantities of oil, if this kind of fossil fuel would be consumed totally, the public transport such as buses that people relied on becomes unavailable, which would bring disorders to the daily routines of employers. However, it is generally acknowledged that plants can absorb carbon dioxide, once large areas of forests disappear, the volume of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere would go up, causing the global warming. On the other hand, the reduction of water resource can be a serious problem. To be specific, in some regions in the world, aridity has become a potential issue of affecting the production of agricultural crops. If water resource will be run out, people would be likely to suffer from starvation.

In order to combat this issue, the first thing to do would be either conserving the oil resource or the general public should be encouraged to frequently use the public transportations in order to reduce the consumption of fossil fuels. In addition, more plants should be planted regionally, or the government should punish those who destroy forests. Finally, the general public should be aware of the alarming situation of water utility and educating them how to save water is also achievable. By doing so, the situation would become less of an issue that concerns individuals.

In conclusion, the consumption of natural resources of any kind is likely to result in negative effects on the society. It is, therefore, measures should be taken by the combination so that natural resources can be reserved well.
