Take the relationship between the U.S. and North Korea as an example, North Korea government has been putting great emphasis on nuclear technological advancement and neglecting the overwhelming opposing voices from the rest of the world. This has left the U.S. and the South Korea no choice but to retaliate with force in an attempt to end the North Korea’s authoritarian regime, which proves that the use of nuclear power does not maintain but destroy the stability and harmony amongst world nations. \u003c/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eOne the other hand, having all kinds of alternative energy sources, we can definitely reduce the reliance on nuclear power. Despite the low-cost production of energy with the help of nuclear technology, we must not forget that the negative impacts it will bring to the environment and of course humans. For instance, without the proper operation of nuclear plants, it will put our health at stake, causing intractable diseases like cancers. Opinions are sharply divided over the claim that nuclear technology does more harm than good. In my view, when considering the current affairs as well as the drawbacks of nuclear weapons, the above claim is too far-fetched to be credible.
