There is no doubt that a good health and a better knowledge is a priority in the government. However, a few people think that free health services and education must be provided by the government while others hesitate. In my opinion, I firmly believe that this must be of free of charge throughout the country.

On the one hand, if this not funded by the government, the families from the working and middle class will have problems on budgeting. One of the reason is a poor salary, which is only enough to buy food and pay for their monthly bills. For example, a single mom, working as a sales lady, living with 2 kids from ages 5 and 6, and the salary is quite few to save money for the schooling as well as expected emergencies towards her children. However, if the government will increase the minimum hourly wages and lower the taxes, the families will be able to allocate an allowance for health and education. As a result, they can exercise a healthy diet and lifestyle, which will help lessen the future health-related problems.

On the other hand, a government-funded healthcare and education gives opportunity for the unemployed people. There will be equal services between the poor and the rich. For example, one of the patients is suffering from cancer, and we all know that this kind of illness is quite expensive and only upper class can afford the treatment. Since it will be available in the society, it gives an avenue for the poor and unemployed to receive medical procedures and drugs. In contrast, if the leaders of the nation refused to provide free health services and education, there will be an increase in poor health and mortality rate. In order to solve this issue they must provide jobs to the less fortunate citizens and implement health teachings.

In conclusion, every individual has the rights for a better well-being that includes emotionally, physically, spiritually and mentally, and all these must be given importance and unrestricted from all levels of the society.
