By saying this, I completely disagree with the author and feel that the advantages outweigh the drawbacks. \u003c/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eLet’s discuss a few benefits of internet, especially when it comes to knowing some information. Internet, is one of the reasons as to why the number of travelers have increased drastically. It helps to know the other parts of the world in minutest detail possible thereby helping everyone know about the place even before travel. This can be corroborated by the recent study done by Indian Tourism Ministry, which states that without internet the number of tourist visiting India would have been reduced by 50%. \u003c/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eTo illustrate more benefits – if anyone wants to know how to cook something, there are hundreds and thousands of websites that come up to help. It also helps in locating any address, in knowing what’s happening in other parts of the world etc. For example: I wanted to know which type of A/C to buy that will suit my budget. Internet was quite helpful and made me buy the exact brand with appropriate features. Without internet, it would have been a herculean task to know and compare details. \u003c/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eIn conclusion, though there are umpteen number of benefits, internet has some disadvantages too. Hence it is prone to providing some sensitive information like how to make bombs, how to hack another system and also provides schematics of the government buildings thereby facilitating some terrorist activities.
