I agree fighting against climate change is the responsibility of individuals but this responsibility does not come naturally. The government must have control over this and carry out adequate education programs to raise awareness of people. I’m going to explain why it should be like that.

Firstly, people only feel responsible when they have a good understanding of the reasons and what would happen unless they follow. In some countries, people are still thinking because they are paying taxes, they can litter on the street and expect it to be cleaned up. Therefore, the government has to educate people so that they can understand with a polluted environment, their health is also badly affected.

Secondly, without having a clear policy, criminals cannot be charged with a crime. There are always good and bad people no matter where you live in the world. Hence, this is also a way to protect good people because if clearly defined laws are put into use, they are the means for charging criminals.

Finally, most of the climate changes are due to the growth of businesses. Having said that, I do not mean running a business is harmful to the environment. Rather, the point is that the more advanced the world is changing the more challenging businesses have to deal with. As a result, they tend to exploit not only their employees but also the environment so that they can maintain their profit.

Therefore, the government should have a benchmark to measure how green a company is so that companies that are polluting the environment and not taking any responsibility for fixing up the consequences will be banned.

Writing Tips:

How To Improve Writing Skills

What Is Required In IELTS Writing

Tips On IELTS Vocabulary For Writing

How Your IELTS Essays Are Graded

Outline

It is the responsibility of individuals with the support from the government.
