For example, when my computer breaks down, I can find out what the problem is and I can fix it myself instead of going to a computer shop. And I have learned this skill by experimenting. It's hard for you to learn this kind of skills from a college or a university because they will focus more on the internal structure of a computer not how to fix it. And you can actually learn this by yourself if you have your passion with computers.
