Nowadays, children play less with one another and this has an impact on their development. What are the reasons for this? Does it have a good or a bad effect on children?
Despite many children are together in classroom or extracurricular activities, they don't play too much with one another.
As the way I see it, technology has a big impact on the children development. Currently, we can see five years old children playing with tablets or smartphones perfectly while in the past at this age, children just were playing with each other because they didn't have any type of technology. The fact that being disprovided of any type of technology makes that children develop their creativity for looking for new ways to play. Another advantage is that before, kids were more active physically than now because playing with tablets, PlayStation, etc., induced to sedentarism.
On the other hand, it's true that kids stay much time with friends in a classroom or in any other situation, they spend more time playing together in video games that interact with each other. In my view, that's a parents responsibility. If I were they, I wouldn't let my sons spend so many time in front of a screen.
To sum up, children play less with one another than before because of the introduction of technology and the bad education from parents. All of this have a bad effect on kids development because they can't expand social skills like creativity, being open-minded, friendly and more.
