According to research, our characteristics since we are born have much more influence on our personality and development than our experiences in life.

In my point of view that the experiences in life instead that have much more influence on our personality and development. For instance is stress due to the bad experiences like torture, sexual abuse that happened on people. However, feeling stress or fairness that emerges could be obstacle to developing their personality. They can’t be more life their live because too glued by their problems life so that tough to go on. In similar to the splendid experience that happened on people like travelling overseas, for this case they could develop their personality by refreshing their mind and soul, seeing the different culture and environment and meeting up new people. Moreover they could enhance transferable skill like communication skill, problem-solving skill, and so on that would be very useful for personality in daily life.

Meanwhile, the characteristic is shaped by the environment where we live in and it could be changed even though it had adhered on our self since we are born. It should be noted that the characteristic just has influence to our behavior on daily life but it can’t develop transferable skill that could polish our personality.

In conclusion, either the characteristics that we have since born or the experience in life could influence our personality and development, but their values are different. I think that the experience have much more influence than the characteristics.
