Smart devices have put all of the world’s information at our fingertips. What are the drawbacks of this development?

Smart devices has connected the world in more better way the way it used to be before the invention of these gadgets. For instance,people from different part of the world can see each other while they talk through video calling. Similarly, availability of internet in these devices has made all the information one need very easy to access. Despite these advancement and comfort it is not free from some drawbacks. To illustrate the negative points concerned with these devices, its effect on memory and school going children will be analysed.

Firstly, smart devices has caused people to rely less on their memories. For example, we put all our activities of the day in these devices. Like, where to go what to do who to meet and all of our important meetings that we scheduled for the day. But, if we unfortunately lost the device then we can`t remember our commitments and activities. So, too much reliance on these gadgets have lessen our memory power as we are not using it.

Secondly, the access of these devices to school going children`s has caused more harm than good. For example, they spend much of their time on playing video games and other activities which are not mentally and socially good for them. So, they are just wasting their time instead of focus on the school work. Thus, the end result lead to the poor performance in their studies which put a negative effect on their future.

As the above makes it clear, smart devices posses some drawback in the shape of its effect on memory and small children. These weakness and issues will continue to grow as people are getting dependent on these devices.
