Dear Mr. Peter,

I’m currently enrolled in a computer hardware course in your college IT Pro. At first, it was a very good experience to learn all the fundamental knowledge about how a computer worked. However, as the course progresses, I feel I have been left far behind since I didn’t have any experience in engineering prior to this course. Furthermore, it is really awkward for me to join a class in which everybody has got a pretty good engineering background. The reason is that I couldn’t communicate with them at all, especially when doing group assignments, because it would take them too much time to explain all the necessary knowledge to me.

I have gone through our school’s website for all the available courses. After carefully considering, I believe I should join an information system course. Since I spent a significant amount of time on learning software development during my high school, I believe it would be a perfect match for my study. Thus, I sincerely request our school to change my current course to the information system course.

I look forward to your positive reply.

Warm Regards,
