It's just impossible to discuss all the differences at the same time. I will try to discuss some of the most visible differences that I'm aware of. First of all, pollution is one of our biggest problems in today's society. Traffic jams are the norm of everyday life. When we come back to work or in the morning we are going to work, we always have to encounter traffic jams. This thing didn't happen in the past when we have very few cars on the streets. People in the past could just easily travel from one place to another place without encountering any traffic jams. Because of the pollution created from those traffic jams as well as from the heavy industry, our physical health are somehow decreasing significantly. However, we also have to agree that in the past the transportation was not as good as we are having now at the present. In the past, to travel from London to Singapore, it could take you just weeks to go. However, we can now travel from one place to another place very easily. Even it can take you just one day to travel around the globe. Furthermore, we can see that in the past people were doing very hard work and now because of the advent of electrical equipments, we can get work done very quickly. So this is one of the advantages of today's society when we have lots of new technologies that can support our daily work.

Your browser does not support the audio element.

What are the differences of the life in the past and at the present?
There are so many differences of the life in the past and at the present.
