This is the process I follow to produce an IELTS Writing Task 2.
1) Determine what the topic is about
2) Write down the key ideas I'm going to answer
(Determine what must be included in my writing)
3) What language to use
Write down some vocabulary ideas
4) Write down short topic sentences for each paragraph
5) For each topic sentence, consider if I can give any examples
Quick Notes:
1) I normally need 4 paragraphs for this task (1 paragraphs for introduction, 3 paragraphs for my ideas)
2) Each line normally consists of 10 words
=> Using these hints, you can work out how many words you can write after all.
Remember that IELTS Writing Task 2 requires at least 250 words.
