Concerning to class attendance, people hold different views. An army of people reckon that going to class is a must to university student while the others assume that it should be up to student to decide whether they need to go or not. From my point of view, I agree with the former opinion that student must to go class no matter whether they want or not.

Students who do not like to go to campus have their own reasons. The main reason is their self-study ability. With the material avaible on internet and library, they can search and learn by themselves without attending class. In addition, if they do not go to campus, they will have more spare time. Accordingly, they can spend it on other activities like getting a part-time job, joining clubs in their university or sleeping.

Inspite of some reasons aboved, I insist that the benefit of attending to class may far oughtweigh that of not attending. Firstly, students can learn plenty of valuable knowledges that probably are not found on books or on the Internet, these informations is very helpful for their studies because they are formed by their teacher’s reseach and experience. Therefore, students can understand lectures easier in class than learn by themselves at home. In addition, students who attend class can be directly given useful advices from professors. This may help their methodologies to surpass quickly during their studies. Students can not do it unless they attend university.

Furthermore, group discussion in class can help student improved their social skills. In class discussion, they must converse each other about a topic with their classmate or team-mate, then they protect idea of their groups against their teacher and other groups. As a result, teamwork skill, presentation skills and communication skill could be developed accordingly.

To sum up, I believe that attending class is advantageous to university student more than nor attending is. Therefore, they have to go to class as much as they can.

Writing Tips:

How To Improve Writing Skills

What Is Required In IELTS Writing

Tips On IELTS Vocabulary For Writing

How Your IELTS Essays Are Graded
