As you might know, next Tuesday will be the birthday of our friend Tom. He has been going through a very hard time after coming here. As international students, we all know it’s very time consuming to get used to the culture here and to avoid feeling homesick. We have been here for quite some time so it has been easier for us to cope with. However, Tom just arrived here last week and he’s feeling depressed now. Hence, I think that we should give him a big surprise on his birthday to make him cheer up.
In my opinion, we can ask Sara and Max to help us prepare the birthday cake. You and I can go to the Chinese restaurant we went last time to book a table. On that Tuesday, we can ask Peter to go to Darling Habour for sightseeing in the morning and we will come back around 8pm in the evening to have the party.
I look forward to your reply
