I’m writing this letter to inform you that I’m still keeping your Mathematics book. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by my mistake. As you know, this book was of great help to me last semester since it was significantly informative. Since then I have been reading the book over and over again. That is why I have forgotten to return it to you on the day you left.
I was just wondering whether you still need this book or not. Because you had done a great job with your final exam, I think it might not be of use to you anymore. In that case, I can buy the book from you and can transfer money to your overseas bank account. However, if you need this book back, I can post it to you after next week so I can have some time to read through the book one more time.
I look forward to your reply and again apologize for this.
