Note:

Common English Mistake with Verb Recommend. It's totally wrong to say We recommended her to buy the book for her study. Do you know this?

Answer:
Recommend can be used in the following situation:
Everybody recommended that she should continue with her education for 3 more years.
Everybody recommended that she continued with her education for 3 more years.
Everybody recommended that she continue with her education for 3 more years.
Even her granny recommends that she continues with her education for 3 more years.
=> as you notice, when using "that" after "recommend" the sentence structure is the same as the one you normally use.

The following 2 cases are without "that" and there is one small change in the sentence structure. That's we have to use bare infinitives, which are verbs without "s/es" at the end, or gerunds.
The doctor recommended he lose weight.
I recommended staying at the ABC Hotel.

One of the common mistakes in using this verb is:
The doctor recommended he loses weight
