How to use 'ago' and 'since' correctly?

 

Answer:
Correct:
How long ago was it?
It was 3 days ago.

How long has it been since you saw him?
It has been 3 days.

When did this happen?
Three days ago.

Incorrect:
How long is it ago?
It is 3 days ago.
(we have to use past tense here)

How long was it ago ? (wrong position for 'ago')
It was 3 days ago. (correct answer)

How long has it been ago ? (we can't use ago with present perfect)
It has been days ago.
