Note:

What is the difference between "Maybe" and "May Be"? How to use them correctly?

Answer:
Maybe an adverb = "perhaps"
For Example: Maybe she forgot I said I’d meet her at six o’clock

May Be: a verb
After may be we usually have an adjective, a noun or a verb (in ING form)
For Example: Your solution is different from your lecturer but it may be still correct.

Maybe I'll see you later = It may be (that) I'll see you later.
